Paola was fantastic about meeting us at the ferry terminal and walking us to her office so we could get the keys. Her husband then walked us up the 265 stairs from Piazza dei Dogi to the apartment, where he toured us through the apartment and showed us the huge rooftop terrace and how to operate the kitchen appliances. The view was stunning and well worth the elevation gain from the rest of the town.

Don’t let the 250 steps fool you, I’m 63 and had know problems. Million dollar view! Absolutely beautiful terrace over looking Amalfi and the harbour. Did not want to leave. Paola greeted us at the harbour signed us in and gave us all the information we needed to know about Amalfi and its surroundings. We had an amazing stay and we will definitely return.

Clean and well equipped apartment. Paola gave us valuable information on sights and where to shop. Suggest you have porters to bring your heavier bags to the apartment which Paola can arrange. The view from the room and terrace is well worth the 250 steps. // Cecilia & Robert

Dealt with Cynthia. She he made the check in at the Amalfi Hotel. She arranged a porter to take up the 2 oversized cabin bags weighing around 15 kg each at a cost of €10 per bag. We later found that her husband in fact helped our neighbours get the bags upstairs. Her husband escorted us up 250 steps to the unit and showed us around. He showed us the safe, which after he had left I realised there were two supplied bolts lying on the floor of the safe which weren’t anchored! The shower head holder was broken, and the rain shower head a leak which shot a jet above the shower door and consequently squirting and completely wetting the bath mat and toilet seat. There was old food from the previous guests or even older for example oil and sugar which was left in the cupboard. Views as advertised and expected after 250 steps! Large roof top deck for day and night relaxation.
